Sixteen current, future or former college hockey players remain on USA Hockey's roster of 29 players that will face off against Finland and Sweden this week in Lake Placid, N.Y., to conclude the U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp.

Boston University, Cornell, Denver, North Dakota and Notre Dame each have two representatives among the remaining players (full roster here).

Jason Zucker, the 2011 WCHA Rookie of the Year, is seeking his third berth on a U.S. National Junior Team and is joined on the list by Denver teammate Nick Shore. Other collegians who could make a repeat appearance on the junior team include Adam Clendening and Charlie Coyle of Boston University, Andy Iles (Cornell), Justin Faulk (Minnesota Duluth), Derek Forbort (Notre Dakota), Jon Merrill (Michigan) and Nick Bjugstad (Minnesota).

The 2012 U.S. National Junior Team will be selected in December and could still include players who did not make today's cut.

"We are very pleased with the way the players have performed during the first three days of camp," said Tim Taylor, the former Yale coach and director of player personnel of the 2012 U.S. National Junior Team. "The players released today will continue to be a big part of our ongoing evaluation process and we look forward to the upcoming international games to further evaluate the players who remain in Lake Placid."

The players remaining in camp will compete in games on Wednesday (4 p.m. vs. Sweden), Thursday (4 p.m. vs. Finland) and Saturday (1 p.m. vs. Sweden). All games can be seen live at FASTHockey.com.
