At least 35 future college players will take the ice Wednesday night for the 2013 USHL Top Prospects Game in Muskegon, Mich., a showcase of the best draft-eligible talent in the USHL.
FASTHockey will provide free coverage of the game beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Viewers can watch the online broadcast on the USHL Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ushlhockey) or via the USHL FASTHockey channel at ushl.fasthockey.com which supports most mobile phone and tablet devices.
College coaching legends Ron Mason (Team East) and Doug Woog (Team West) were added to the coaching staffs that already featured former college stars Jim Montgomery (East) and Cary Eades (West).
The recruits in the game represent 13 schools, led by Minnesota, which has five future players in the lineup. Boston College, Nebraska-Omaha, North Dakota and Northeastern each have three committed players in the game (updated: BC commit Austin Cangelosi will miss the game due to illness).
Five other schools - Colorado College, Denver, Michigan, Notre Dame and St. Cloud State - each have a pair of future players taking part.
