NCAA Field of 16 Revealed
Minnesota State, North Dakota, Boston University and Miami claim top seeds in chase for national title.

The 16-team field for the 2015 NCAA Tournament was announced Sunday on ESPNU, with Minnesota State, North Dakota, Boston University and Miami claiming the top four seeds.

Competition begins Friday in the Northeast (Manchester, N.H.) and West (Fargo, N.D.) Regionals, continuing Saturday in the Midwest (South Bend, Ind.) and East (Providence, R.I.) Regionals. The winners of each four-team regional advance to Boston for the 2015 Frozen Four April 9 and 11 at TD Garden.

Automatic bids went to six conference tournament champions: RIT (Atlantic Hockey), Minnesota (Big Ten), Harvard (ECAC Hockey), Boston University (Hockey East), Miami (NCHC) and Minnesota State (WCHA). Ten at-large teams rounded out the 16-team field.

Every game of the tournament will be broadcast by ESPN Networks, with most also carried by TSN in Canada.
