ESPN SportsCenter host and the network's voice of the Frozen Four, John Buccigross, welcomed College Hockey Inc. Executive Director Mike Snee to ESPN's "Hockey Today" podcast on Wednesday.
Snee followed Columbus Dispatch writer Aaron Portzline on the podcast and talked about College Hockey Inc., college hockey in general, the growth of the game in the U.S., Arizona State and the potential for further expansion in the West.
"What I think it will take out there," Snee told Buccigross, "and hopefully conversations like this get it going, are the hockey communities in Southern California, Northern California, Oregon and Washington saying ‘If they can do it in the desert why can’t we do it here?’"
