Hay and Ruggiero are joined by former NHL stars Sergei Fedorov, Phil Housley, Nicklas Lidstrom and Chris Pronger in the Hockey Hall of Fame's class of 2015.

Hay, who will be inducted in the Builder category, played two seasons at Colorado College, twice earning first-team All-America honors and helping lead the Tigers to the 1957 NCAA championship. He graduated from CC in 1958 after totaling 154 points (60 goals, 94 assists) as a Tiger.

He went on to an eight-year career with the Chicago Blackhawks and in 1960 captured the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year. Following his playing career, Hay served as part owner and team president of the Calgary Flames and spent 15 years as the Chairman and CEO of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

A four-time Olympian, Ruggiero won a gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics as the youngest member of Team USA. From there she attended Harvard, where she won the 2004 Patty Kazmaier Award as the top player in college hockey and was a four-time All-American.

In addition to her impressive playing career, Ruggiero serves as a member of the International Olympic Committee and has been an international ambassador for women's hockey and sports in general.
