Three current NCAA freshmen are among the 26 players named to the Swedish National Junior Team training camp prior to the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Boston University's Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson (Stockholm, Sweden/Omaha-USHL/BOS), Massachusetts' William Lagesson (Goteborg, Sweden/Dubuque-USHL/EDM) and Omaha's Fredrik Olofsson (Broomfield, Colo./Chicago-USHL/CHI) are all NHL draft picks enjoying terrific rookie seasons in the NCAA.
