Each of the players named currently stars in the USHL, representing 12 teams from that league. They will compete in the event against two Canadian teams, the Czech Republic, Russia and Switzerland.

Cornell, Minnesota, Minnesota Duluth, North Dakota, Northeastern, Western Michigan and Wisconsin each have two recruits named to the roster.

Two players - North Dakota commit Collin Adams (NYI) and Providence commit Jake Ryczek (CHI) - have been drafted by NHL teams, while the others are eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft. One player on the roster - Isaac Johnson of the Des Moines Buccaneers - is not committed to a school.

Team USA will play a pre-tournament game against Canada West at 9:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 9 at the Cold Lake Energy Centre in Cold Lake, Alberta. The U.S. opens the tournament against the Czech Republic at 5:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 12 at R.J. Lalonde Arena.
