2014 Conference Tournaments

The six Division I conferences each hold a postseason tournament to determine which team earns their automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Atlantic Hockey

Format: All 12 teams make the playoffs. The top four seeds receive first-round byes while Nos. 5 through 8 host Nos. 9 through 12 in best-of-three first-round series, March 7-9. The teams that advance are reseeded and face the top four seeds in best-of-three quarterfinal series on campus sites, March 14-16.
Semifinal and Championship Site: Blue Cross Arena, Rochester, N.Y., March 21-22

Big Ten

Format: All six teams make the playoffs, which are held over three days at Xcel Energy Center. The top two seeds receive first-round byes while Nos. 3 through 6 face off on Thursday. On Friday No. 1 will face the winner of the No. 4/5 game and No. 2 will face the winner of No. 3/6.

National Collegiate Hockey Conference
