NCHC Coaches on Why College Hockey
Eight coaches share what makes NCAA hockey a great choice for a young player.
The Dec. 4 edition of Inside the NCHC, the conference’s weekly online show, features a segment in which each of the league’s coaches talk about why college hockey is such a beneficial choice for a young player.
“In college hockey the important thing is the balance you have in life,” said Western Michigan head coach Andy Murray. “How does it sound to be 21 or 22 years old and have a college degree and an NHL contract? You’re securing your life and your future.”
