Nate Ewell
Interim Executive Director
Nate joined College Hockey, Inc., as Director of Communications in January 2011 and was appointed Interim Executive Director in February 2012.
Prior to joining the staff of College Hockey, Inc., Ewell served as the Vice President of Communications for the NHL's Washington Capitals. In eight seasons with the Caps, he created a comprehensive media strategy for league MVP Alex Ovechkin, established a program for accreditation of bloggers that became a model for other sports franchises, and led a staff that captured four consecutive Dick Dillman Awards as the top media relations group in the Eastern Conference.
A 1996 graduate of Princeton University, where he was the Sports Editor of the campus newspaper, Ewell went on to become the Assistant Sports Information Director at Michigan State University. There, he served as the principal media contact for the MSU men's hockey program.
In 2002, Ewell co-founded "Inside College Hockey," a popular website focused on showcasing the personalities, issues, and events of NCAA college hockey.
Ewell worked for NBC Sports during its coverage of the Olympic hockey tournament at the Winter Games in Salt Lake City (2002) and Torino (2006). He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, teaching a class in its Sports Industry Management master's program on sports communication and public relations.

Jeff Dwyer
Director of Education & Recruitment
Prior to joining the College Hockey, Inc. team in 2010, Jeff spent 18 months in the coaching ranks of both the East Coast Hockey League and United States Hockey League. As a member of the staff of the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, Jeff served as both Assistant Coach and Assistant Director of Hockey Operations. Following his time in Salt Lake City, Jeff became an Assistant Coach and Head Scout for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL.
Drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers, Jeff signed his first professional contract in March of 2004, following a four-year career with the Yale Bulldogs. During his time at Yale, Jeff was a member of an Ivy League Championship team as well as being named Co-Ivy League rookie of the year and serving as assistant captain in his senior year.
Jeff's professional career spanned parts of five seasons. He was a member of the 2004-05 Chicago Wolves team that played in the Calder Cup Finals of the American Hockey League, as well as being a part of the 2005-06 Gwinnett Gladiators squad that reached the Kelly Cup Finals in the ECHL. Jeff spent one year in Europe playing for Cortina In the Italian Serie "A" League, a season in which Cortina won its first title in 35 years.

Ryan O'Leary
Ryan joined the College Hockey, Inc. staff in June 2011 after graduating from Boston College in May of that same year. While at Boston College, Ryan majored in Communications and minored in Economics. Ryan competed on the BC Club Hockey Team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). In his final season, Ryan earned Academic All-American honors and finished his career as the program’s all-time leading scorer among defensemen. Ryan served as Vice President of the Club Hockey team while also serving as a member of the Boston College Club Sports Council. In these roles, Ryan worked to schedule team games, promote team activity, and work with the Boston College administration to acquire funds and balance the program’s budget.
Prior to Boston College, Ryan attended the Kent School in Connecticut, where he played both hockey and lacrosse.
