College Hockey Inc. was formed in 2009 to serve as an educational and advocacy organization working on behalf of the 59 colleges and universities that sponsor NCAA Division I men's hockey. The existence of an alternative development path for elite male hockey players adds a layer to the recruiting process that isn't faced by coaches in women's hockey, football, basketball and other NCAA Division I athletics. Created in partnership with the NHL and USA Hockey, College Hockey Inc. addresses these recruiting issues and helps ensure that all potential Division I male hockey players and their families completely understand all that NCAA Division I men's hockey has to offer.
