Midget Teams to compete for College Hockey Cup

Friday November 5th, marks the start of the annual Bauer International Invite throughout all of Chicagoland. The tournament, which runs through November 7th, spans seven different age groups and features 408 teams from across North America and Europe. This year’s 80 U16 teams will be competing for the College Hockey Cup in both the AAA and Elite AAA divisions.

The Bauer International Invite is the largest and most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world and showcases some of the finest young hockey players from all over the planet, many of whom will go on to play NCAA college hockey and to reach the NHL. College coaches have long identified this tournament as a tremendous opportunity to identify and evaluate players they hope to recruit in the coming years. Paul Kelly, Executive Director of College Hockey, Inc. stated “College Hockey, Inc. is extremely proud to align itself with the Bauer Invitational Invite tournament and to award the College Hockey Cup. The rosters of many DI hockey programs are filled with players who have competed in the Bauer Invite and we are committed to supporting the tourney as a pathway to college hockey.”
