Frozen Perspective

Frozen Perspective

Guy Flaming has kept a close eye on college hockey as co-host of The Pipeline Show, a hockey prospects show that airs twice a week in Edmonton. He would certainly be among the most knowledgable NCAA followers in Canada.

Still, he hadn’t attended a Frozen Four until last weekend. As college hockey fans might expect, the event did not disappoint:

“The trip to Minnesota was much different than what I expected and yet, better than I could have hoped for. It will be a working vacation that I won’t soon forget for a number of reasons,” Guy wrote on the show’s blog. He went on to list five unforgettable aspects of his Frozen Four experience.

In addition to the written word, Flaming offered a complete recap of the Frozen Four on Tuesday night’s show, including:

* An interview with Kevin Pates of the Duluth News Tribune plus some of Guy’s reactions (.mp3)
* Postgame interviews with UMD’s Justin Fontaine, Mike Connolly and Kenny Reiter
* Reaction from Michigan head coach Red Berenson and other Wolverines

The Pipeline Show has been a loyal partner of College Hockey, Inc., and a consistent supporter of the college game. We appreciate Guy taking the trip to St. Paul and are thrilled that he enjoyed the event as much as we expected he would.
