College hockey will be represented at Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp by Colorado College’s Jaden Schwartz and Michigan’s Phil Di Giuseppe, Hockey Canada announced Monday.

Schwartz, a returnee from Canada’s 2010 silver medal-winning squad, was a first-round draft choice of the St. Louis Blues in 2010. Di Giuseppe is a potential first-round pick in the 2012 NHL Draft.

Canada has invited 41 players to participated in its selection camp, which will determine the final roster to compete in the World Junior Championship taking place Dec. 26 to Jan. 5 in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.

Schwartz has 17 points (5g-12a) in 11 games for the Tigers, tied with brother Rylan for the team lead in scoring and fourth in the nation in points per game (1.55). He has at least a point in all 11 games this season.

Di Giuseppe shares the Michigan lead in goals with seven through 16 games. He is tied for eighth among NCAA freshmen with 12 points on the season, including a pair of two-goal games.
