Golfers Support College Hockey, Inc.
Familiar faces from rinks around the college hockey world gathered on the golf course Aug. 13 in Marlborough, Mass., to participate in College Hockey, Inc.’s third annual golf tournament and support the organization’s mission to promote the sport.
Current college coaches, NHL executives, former college players, hockey media and fans of the game took part at the beautiful Marlborough Country Club, enjoying one of the nicest days of the summer.
“We got a beautiful day to celebrate this great sport,” said College Hockey, Inc. interim executive director Nate Ewell. “We appreciate everyone’s support, which will help the organization reach more prospective college hockey players and fans.”
The NBC Sports Group, the NHL, the NHLPA and Reebok all returned as presenting sponsors of the 2012 tournament. USA Hockey served as a meal sponsor, providing lunch to all participants, while a number of organizations and individuals contributed as hole sponsors.
