NY Times Features Kerdiles
College Hockey, Inc.’s Mike Snee wrote a guest blog on Nic Kerdiles’s commitment to Wisconsin.
The Nic Kerdiles story that has played out in the first half of the season at Wisconsin is one that started with disappointment, to be sure.
Ultimately, however, it has proved to be more a story of commitment and character – and that’s paying off now for the Badgers on the ice.
College Hockey, Inc. Executive Director Mike Snee wrote a guest post for the New York Times college sports blog, The Quad, highlighting Kerdiles:
Kerdiles figures to be the real winner, and his actions are far more powerful than any bullet points, percentages, or dollar values can be in placing a value on the scholarship a hockey player receives.
βIt is my turn to be a role model for young hockey players in California and the West Coast,β he said. βI take that responsibility very seriously and would be devastated to see any of them change their path from college route just because of the adversity I faced as a student-athlete.β
