Matt Hendricks certainly had a hot stick at St. Cloud State, averaging 17 goals per season in his final three seasons.

Matt Hendricks and Jay Beagle aren’t superstars at the NHL level, but both have been able to carve out important roles and earn multi-year contracts with the Washington Capitals.

Recently the former WCHA players – Hendricks of St. Cloud State and Beagle of Alaska Anchorage – took the time to talk to Comcast SportsNet about their college careers for an intermission feature.
