Jack Eichel, Noah Hanifin and Zach Werenski – all freshmen this past season and projected top-10 picks – headline the group, which includes commits to 10 NCAA schools and one uncommitted prospect.

Michigan has five representatives among the invitees. Boston College and Boston University each have four, while Miami, Minnesota, North Dakota and Notre Dame have two each.

The NHL Scouting Combine offers all 30 NHL teams the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the top prospects for the 2015 NHL Draft and for the prospects to undergo medical and fitness testing.

Dan Marr, the Director of NHL Central Scouting, anticipates 120 players will attend the Combine, which will be held at HarborCenter and First Niagara Center.

“The Combine not only is moving to the new HarborCenter but it is also implementing a new format and testing as a result of a Combine review that was conducted with the 30 NHL clubs,” Marr told NHL.com. “The fitness testing will be moved into an arena offering an increased viewing area, better sight lines and live result monitors, allowing for the testing to be captured on video.”

The HarborCenter is the practice facility of the Buffalo Sabres and home to Canisius College.
