27 Commits in Eastern Canada Cup
Five CJHL leagues form teams for all-star showcase in Cornwall, Ont.
Twenty-seven players committed to 17 different Division I programs are among those selected to participate in the 2015 Eastern Canada Cup Challenge, a nine-team all-star event to be held Nov. 16-18 in Cornwall, Ontario.
The top players from five CJHL leagues – the CCHL, LHJQ, MHL, NOJHL and OJHL – were selected for the event, which will attact a number of NCAA recruiters.
The 27 players already committed are concentrated on five teams: two representing the CCHL and three representing the OJHL. They include three players committed to Colgate and Niagara and two each to Dartmouth, Merrimack, Penn State, Princeton, Robert Morris, Vermont and Western Michigan.
All six Division I conferences are represented among the current commits.
