Recruits Make U.S. Select Team
Under-17 Team to compete in Five Nations Tournament in Texas.
Eleven college hockey commits and nine uncommitted prospects have been named to the U.S. Under-17 Select Team that will compete in the Five Nations Tournament next month in Frisco, Texas, USA Hockey announced Thursday.
The team was chosen from participants in the USA Hockey Boys Select 16 Player Development Camp, which took place July 8-14 in Williamsville, N.Y. The U.S. will compete with teams from Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland in the event, which runs from Aug. 9-13.
Michigan boasts three recruits on the roster, which has representatives of nine schools.
