34 Invited to U.S. Prospects Game
Players and recruits from 17 schools to take part in USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game.
The roster for the 2016 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game features 34 current or future NCAA players repreenting 17 schools, USA Hockey announced Wednesday.
The fifth annual event, which showcases top U.S. players eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft, will take place Sept. 22 at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.
First-round prospect Casey Mittelstadt headlines six future Minnesota Golden Gophers named to the team, the most of any school. Wisconsin has four recruits in the game, while Boston University, Harvard, Michigan and Michigan State have three each.
Four freshmen this fall will be participating: goaltender Jake Oettinger (Boston University), defenseman Luke Martin (Michigan) and forwards Patrick Khodorenko (Michigan State) and Ryan Poehling (St. Cloud State).
