Future NHL stars and campus excitement featured among 21 games in Nov.-Dec.

NCAA Hockey Returns to TSN
New Hampshire faces Northeastern on TSN2 to open the Friendship Four tournament on Friday, Nov. 29.

NCAA hockey returns to TSN for a sixth consecutive year in 2019-20, with broadcast and streaming options delivering the talent, tradition and excitement of U.S. college hockey to Canadian audiences this season. TSN and College Hockey Inc. unveiled the network’s schedule through Dec. 29 today, featuring 21 games in that time with more to be added in the New Year.

The upcoming schedule includes six televised games and 15 games streamed on TSN.ca and the TSN app. The six televised games are:

  • New Hampshire and Northeastern open the Friendship Four from Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Friday, Nov. 29 (10 a.m. ET, TSN2)
  • Hockey East rivals Merrimack and New Hampshire meet on Friday, Dec. 6 (7 p.m. ET, TSN)
  • Women’s rivals Boston College and Boston University face off on Saturday, Dec. 7 (1:30 p.m. ET, TSN)
  • 2019 Frozen Four participant Massachusetts visits Brown on Tuesday, Dec. 10 (7 p.m., TSN)
  • No. 2 Denver hosts its archrival Colorado College on Friday, Dec. 13 (9 p.m. ET, TSN)
  • Dartmouth visits Northeastern for a non-conference clash on Saturday, Dec. 14 (4 p.m., TSN)

“We are excited that our growing partnership with TSN continues to allow NCAA hockey fans in Canada an opportunity to enjoy the season,” said College Hockey Inc. Executive Director Mike Snee. “Many current NCAA hockey players hail from Canada and TSN’s coverage allows their family and friends to follow their progress. In addition, Canadian NHL fans will get a glimpse of future stars on their way to the NHL stage.”

TSN and TSN Direct subscribers will have access to dozens of NCAA games on TSN.ca and the TSN App between now and Dec. 29. That schedule of streaming games begins Friday with a pair of Big Ten matchups (Penn State at Minnesota, Notre Dame at Wisconsin) and features:

  • Appearances from nine teams in the current USCHO.com Poll
  • Heated and historic NCAA hockey rivalries like Minnesota-Wisconsin, Boston College-Notre Dame and North Dakota-Minnesota
  • Top prospects for Canadian teams like Cole Caufield (Wisconsin/MTL), Jacob Bernard-Docker (North Dakota/OTT) and Emilio Pettersen (Denver/CGY)
  • First-round NHL draft prospect and Bragg Creek, Alta., native Dylan Holloway (Wisconsin)
  • A women’s game featuring archrivals Boston College and Boston University, who have combined to win seven of the last nine Beanpot championships
