College Hockey’s Elite Take Stage at Women’s European Hockey Tour
Six-Team Tournament Starts Wednesday in Finland
The past, present, and future of NCAA Division I women’s hockey will be on display this week at the Women’s European Hockey Tour in Finland, where nearly two-thirds of the rostered players will have college hockey ties.
The six-team international tournament, which includes the United States, Canada, Czechia, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland, will feature 87 current, former or committed NCAA Division I women’s hockey players. Both the United States and Canada will ice rosters made up entirely of active NCAA players. In all, 22 different NCAA schools will have representation at the tournament.
