Additionally, Canada’s seven NHL franchises have a combined 19 drafted prospects in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Among those prospects are 2023 Vancouver first-rounder Tom Willander (Boston University) and 2023 Montreal third-rounder Jacob Fowler (Boston College), who is one of four finalists for the Mike Richter Award as the top goaltender in Division I men’s college hockey.
The tournament begins Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28, at four pre-determined regional sites and culminates in the NCAA Frozen Four at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
