World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

The event features 10 teams, five of them from regions in Canada. Those Canadian teams are made up primarily of Canadian Hockey League players, but do feature four college recruits - three of whom are committed to Western Michigan.

Boston College joins WMU with three recruits participating, all for the U.S. The 22-player U.S. squad is comprised of players from the U.S. Under-17 Team from the National Team Development Program. In addition to BC, Harvard, Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin all have multiple recruits on that roster.

In all, 12 schools have a committed recruit participating in the tournament, while several other participants are uncommitted as of yet.

Each game of the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge are to be streamed live, and will also available on-demand, at FASTHockey.com.
