12 Named to U.S. National Team
Four current NCAA players, eight alums among first 16 named to compete in World Championship.

Recent All-American selections Dylan Larkin (Michigan), Alex Lyon (Yale), Mike Reilly (Minnesota) and Jimmy Vesey (Harvard) are among the first 16 players named to the U.S. National Team that will compete in the 2015 IIHF World Championship, USA Hockey announced Tuesday.

That group of four and eight NCAA alumni give U.S. college hockey 12 representatives among the first 16 players named to the roster for the May 1-17 tournament in Ostrava and Prague, Czech Republic. Team USA's head coach is former Minnesota star Todd Richards, and he will be assisted by Bowling Green alum Dan Bylsma and current St. Lawrence head coach Greg Carvel.

Former NCAA champions Justin Faulk (Minnesota Duluth) and Ben Smith (Boston College) are among the 10 current NHL players named to the team.
