The roster includes players committed to 11 schools. Boston College and Boston University each have three commits on the roster, while Michigan and Wisconsin each have two.

The IIHF Under-18 World Championship will take place April 16-26 in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland. The U.S. squad seeks its second-straight gold medal in the event after capturing the tournament title last year in Lappeenranta, Finland. Team USA has earned 11 straight medals at the Under-18 Men's World Championship, including gold in five of the past six tournaments. Overall, the United States boasts 12 medals in the event, most of any country.

Head coach Don Granato - former star at Wisconsin - leads Team USA in the tournament. Twenty-two of the 23 players are part of the U.S. National Team Development Program, where Granato is one of two head coaches.
