Academic All-America honors student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. The At-Large Teams are made up of representatives from 12 men's sports and are selected by members of CoSIDA.

Mattson (Chanhassen, Minn./Indiana-USHL/CHI) is a member of the second team after earning third-team honors last season. The senior defenseman, who had 21 points in 33 games for North Dakota, was the NCHC's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He has a 3.92 GPA in management.

Jacobson (Sioux City, Iowa/Janesville-NAHL) helped lead Denver to the NCAA Tournament as a senior and recorded two assists in the Pioneers' first-round win against Boston College. A third-team honoree, he had a 3.98 GPA while majoring in finance.
