Martin St. Louis led Vermont to the 1996 Frozen Four.

Vermont honored its all-time leading scorer Friday night, retiring Martin St. Louis's No. 8 in a pregame ceremony prior to a 1-0 win against Dartmouth.

"I couldn't be more proud to have been a Catamount," St. Louis said. "It is amazing for me to be standing here again at the Gut. I have so many great memories from my time at UVM."

Current Catamount Jonathan Turk pulled off his No. 8 sweater to reveal his new No. 88 - Ray Bourque-style - prior to the game as St. Louis's family looked on. St. Louis is the first Catamount to have his number retired.

St. Louis was a three-time Hobey Baker Award finalist while re-writing the UVM record book.
