Need another sign of the incredible impact former NCAA players are having in the NHL? Greg Wyshynski of Yahoo! Sports' Puck Daddy blog has placed his top 64 NCAA alumni in the NHL into an NCAA Tournament-style bracket, and there are some tremendous talents all the way through the 16th seeds.

Johnny Gaudreau, Duncan Keith, Cory Schneider and Jonathan Toews nabbed the top seeds in the four regions, dubbed the Brooks, Chelios, Leetch and Richter by Wyshynski. Fans can vote for their favorites on the Puck Daddy blog, beginning with the first round in the Chelios Region.
The seeds reveal some compelling first-round matchups, includng recent BC alums Gaudreau and Noah Hanifin facing off in the first round. Michigan alums Max Pacioretty and Michael Cammalleri also meet in the first round of the Brooks Region.
