More than 100 NCAA players or recruits, representing 34 of the 60 Division I schools, are included in the latest NHL Central Scouting players to watch list for the 2018 NHL Draft, released Wednesday.

Sortable: NCAA Players in Central Scouting Watch List

The updated list features 111 NCAA players or recruits, up from 97 on the preseason watch list. Nine current NCAA players are included, four more than in the preseason.

The 34 NCAA teams with representatives on the list are led by Wisconsin (eight players), Denver (seven) and Boston College (six).

Twenty of the prospects on the list have not committed to a school, but are playing in an NCAA-eligible junior or high school league.

Michigan freshman Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla./U.S. NTDP) and Boston University freshman Brady Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo./U.S. NTDP) lead a group of seven players rated “A”, or first-round candidates. Eighteen more earned “B” ratings as potential second- or third-round selections.

Two schools – Maine and Michigan State – have multiple current players on the list. Black Bear freshmen Alexis Binner (Stocksund, Sweden/Green Bay-USHL) and Emil Westerlund (Linkoping, Sweden/Linkoping) and Spartans Patrick Khodorenko (Walnut Creek, Calif./U.S. NTDP) and Tommy Miller (W. Bloomfield, Mich./U.S. NTDP) are all included.
