Two dozen NCAA commits headed to 17 schools will take the ice Jan. 22 when the CJHL holds its annual CJHL Prospects Game in Okotoks, Alta.

The CJHL, which includes 10 junior A leagues across Canada, announced the rosters for the 2019 CJHL Prospects Game in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting. Each of the participants is eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft.

North Dakota and Penn State each have three recruits slated to play in the game, while Bowling Green, Clarkson and Wisconsin boast two each. Clarkson and Penn State both have future players on each roster, which are split into Team East and Team West.

“We at the CJHL extend our congratulations to each of the players on their selection to compete in the 2019 CJHL Prospects Game in Okotoks,” said CJHL President Brent Ladds. “We also thank and commend NHL Central Scouting for their significant contributions in helping formalize the Team East and Team West rosters.”

The selections include three players who are projected as first- through third-round selections in the NHL Draft by NHL Central Scouting last month: Layton Ahac (Ohio State), Alex Newhook (Boston College) and Massimo Rizzo (North Dakota).

Harvard commit Austin Wong and Colgate commit Ethan Manderville were named the player of the game in the 2018 CJHL Prospects Game, which Team West won, 5-2.
