19 Commits on U.S. U-18 Team
Twelve schools have future stars on team headed to Under-18 World Championship.
Nineteen players committed to 12 Division I schools are among the 22 players named to the U.S. National Under-18 Team that will compete at the 2014 IIHF Under-18 World Championship later this month in Finland.
Boston College has three future stars on the roster, while Boston University, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Notre Dame each have a pair of representatives. Cornell, Miami, North Dakota, Northeastern, Wisconsin and Yale each have a recruit on the team as well.
Top 2015 NHL Draft prospect and Boston University commit Jack Eichel returns for his second stint on the team. Michigan State alum and former Alabama-Huntsville head coach Danton Cole is the head coach of the team.
Team USA seeks its eighth gold medal in the event after winning it four of the last five years. All of the U.S. games will be streamed live on USAHockey.FASTHockey.com.
