All-Americans, Other Awards Named
McIntyre claims Richter Award as nation’s top goaltender; Musico named Unsung Hero.
College hockey’s best were honored Friday at the sport’s oldest arena, as awards presented by the American Hockey Coaches’ Association, the Hockey Commissioners’ Association and others were announced at Northeastern’s Matthews Arena.
A rundown of the honorees:
Mike Richter Award: Zane McIntyre, North Dakota
Senior CLASS Award: Spiro Goulakos, Colgate
National Rookie of the Year: Jack Eichel, Boston University
Derek Hines Unsung Hero: P.J. Musico, Penn State
Hockey Humanitarian Award: Brittany Ammerman, Wisconsin
NCAA Elite 89 Award: Nick Mattson, North Dakota
