Women’s Facts & Figures
- University of Minnesota alumnae Natalie Darwitz and Krissy Wendell-Pohl were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, in 2024, joining Cammi Granato, Angela Ruggiero, and Caroline Oullette.
- In the 2023-24 season, over 92% of the PWHL played NCAA college hockey
- All 2024 PWHL Award Winners were NCAA alumnae including the Billie Jean King MVP, Defender of the Year, Goaltender of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the Hockey for All Award.
- The 2024 PWHL 1st All-Star, 2nd All-Star, and All-Rookie team were comprised entirely of NCAA alumnae.
- In the 2024 IIHF Women’s Worlds both Team USA and Team Canada rosters were comprised entirely of current and former NCAA players.
