For the third straight season, U16 teams at the World Hockey Invitational presented by Bauer will be playing for the College Cup, sponsored by College Hockey, Inc. The event, billed as the world's largest AAA hockey tournament, will be held Nov. 1-4 in and around Chicago, Ill.
In addition to supporting the 96 teams competing in three U16 divisions, College Hockey, Inc. will be on site, with staff available to meet with teams and parents about the college hockey recruiting process.
Teams that have visited with College Hockey, Inc. at the event in the past have raved about the experience.
"Your presentation was very helpful and informative," one parent wrote last year. "I know that the players and coaches enjoyed and appreciated you taking the time to meet with our team."
The World Hockey Invitational kicks off with opening ceremonies on Nov. 1. Games will run through Nov. 4 with 424 teams competing in 14 age groups over two divisions – Elite and AAA. Twenty-six separate facilities will provide 45 rinks on which 946 games will be played during a 57-hour window.
