The five Division I women's conferences each hold a postseason tournament to determine which team earns their automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Format: The top four teams in the final College Hockey America regular season standings will participate in the 2023 College Hockey America Postseason. The CHA Semifinals will feature the No. 1 seed hosting the No. 4 seed and the No. 2 seed hosting the No. 3 seed in best-of-three series, Feb. 24-26.
The winners of both series will advance to the CHA Championship Game on March 4 at the site of the highest advancing seed.
The winner of the 2023 CHA Postseason championship will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship.

Format: The ECAC Playoffs get underway Feb. 23-24 with a single-elimination first round of seeds five through eight hosting seeds nine through 12. The winners advance to the league’s best-of-three quarterfinals, hosted by the highest-remaining seeds. The ECAC semifinals and championship game take place March 8-9 at the site of the top remaining seeds.

Format: All 10 programs will compete in a single-elimination postseason tournament for the Bertagna trophy. Seeds seven and eight will host seeds 10 and nine, respectively, in the Opening Round on Wednesday, February 28 while the top six seeds receive a bye into the Quarterfinals. After a reseeding, the top two seeds will host the winners of the Opening Round while the three seed will host the six seed and the four seed will host the five seed. These quarterfinal games are scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 2 (date could vary by venue).
Semifinals will take place on Wednesday, March 6 and the Championship is set for Saturday, March 9.

The winners of those series will advance to a single-elimination semifinal game, hosted by the highest two seeds, on Saturday, March 2. The NEWHA championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 9 at the site of the highest-remaining seed.

Format: The 2024 WCHA Tournament begins with all eight teams in competition on Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5 with the best-of-three WCHA Quarterfinals. Based on their finish in the regular season standings, the top four seeds host the bottom four seeds at their home campus sites.
Tickets and game times will be determined by the host institution. The winners of the best-of-three series then advance to the four-team Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff.
The 2024 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff championship tournament will begin with semifinal play on March 8 at Ridder Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn. The two winners of the semifinal games will then advance to the Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff championship game, which will be played on Saturday, March 9 at Ridder Arena.
